New for 2024, the Expo will be open across three days, offering 40% more Expo time than last year. It will be open from Tuesday, November 19, through Thursday, November 21.

Automation Fair offers an exclusive catalog of training and educational opportunities across all four days, including:

These sessions feature problem-solvers, makers and leaders sharing their experiences, successes, best practices and discoveries while applying industrial automation and digital transformation solutions to today’s challenges.

Product & Technology Sessions, Hands-on Labs
Monday – Thursday | Technology Professional Audience | General Access + Advanced Training Pass
The interactive Product & Technology Sessions and Hands-on Labs are a deep dive into hardware and software solutions, with a chance to upskill your knowledge and talk about your specific scenarios with domain experts.

Advanced-level sessions offered with the General Access + Advanced Training Pass are eligible for 1 PDH credit per hour. Hands-on Labs that run for 1.5 hours are eligible for 2 PDH credits. Please note that Professional Development Hour credits are valid in the United States and Canada.

Will sessions be offered more than once?

The session schedule is configured so you can attend as many sessions as possible over four days. Many of our most sought-after sessions are offered multiple times.

When will I be able to select sessions?

Registration is now open. You can sign up for sessions as soon as you register. We encourage you to select your sessions early to secure your spot.

Can I see what sessions are offered in the General Access Pass and the General Access + Advanced Training Pass before I register to attend?

Yes. The session catalog indicates which sessions are included with the General Access Pass and which are included with the General Access + Advanced Training Pass. You can view the full session catalog before deciding which pass fits your needs. Please note sessions are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to register early. Capacity varies by session.

Can I earn Professional Development Hour credits at Automation Fair?

You can earn your Professional Development Hour credits by attending the Product & Technology Session and Hands-on Labs. These sessions and labs are available with the General Access + Advanced Training Pass. Advanced-level sessions offered with the General Access + Advanced Training Pass are eligible for 1 PDH credit per hour. Hands-on Labs that run for 1.5 hours are eligible for 2 PDH credits. Please note that Professional Development Hour credits are valid in the United States and Canada.

Do I have to register for sessions in advance?

All sessions are available on a first come, first served basis. Sessions have limited capacity and require registration via the Session Catalog. General Access registration fees will not be refunded due to session availability.

Are there waitlists for sessions that are full?

Session waitlists are not available. All sessions are available on a first come, first served basis. We encourage attendees to sign-up for sessions as soon as possible to secure a seat in the sessions they are most interested in.

Off-site Tours are exclusive visits hosted by our customers and partners where attendees can see technology solutions making a difference in the real world. There are limited spots and tours are very popular, so we encourage you to sign up when you register for the event. Off-site Tours include transportation to and from the Anaheim Convention Center and the tour location.

What are the Summits?

Automation Fair Summits are half-day topic-specific events that bring together communities for idea sharing, problem solving and community building. You’ll hear from exclusive speakers, collaborate in roundtable sessions and join topical breakouts not available in the general session catalog. You’re also invited to enjoy a networking lunch with other Summit attendees.

When are the Keynotes taking place?

Keynotes are scheduled on Monday, November 18 at 3:30 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday, November 19 and 20 at 8:30 a.m. Prepare to be inspired by notable thought leaders driving meaningful change in our world. Keynotes are open to all event attendees.

Is there a cost to attend Automation Fair?

Yes, there are two access pass options for Automation Fair so you can select the one that best meets your needs. View Registration Packages and Pricing.

General Access Pass: This pass includes admission on all 4 days, including keynote presentations, the 3-day Expo, Summits, Tours, over 275 session offerings, networking events and a daily lunch. Note: The introductory-level sessions offered with the General Access Pass will not be eligible for Professional Development Hour credits.

Cost: $495 (Register by September 30); $695 (October 1 – November 15); $895 (On-site)

General Access + Advanced Training Pass: This pass includes all the General Access benefits noted above, plus four days of unlimited access to the advanced-level Hands-on Labs and Product & Technology sessions. These training sessions are eligible for earning Professional Development Hour credits.

Cost: $1595 (Register by September 30); $1795 (October 1 – November 15); $2295 (On-site)

If I attended ROKLive in the past, what Pass should I get?

We recommend former ROKLive Americas attendees select the General Access + Advanced Training Pass. This package includes the type and level of training sessions a ROKLive attendee has experienced in the past.

Is lunch included with the cost to attend the event? And is it included for all four days of the event?

Can I purchase a lower-cost Guest pass for my colleague or family to attend the Expo?

Are discounted passes available for students/educators?

Rockwell is pleased to provide complimentary General Access passes to current students and educators. Upon registration, students and educators will be asked to submit documentation of education affiliation. If documentation is not provided or is deemed inadequate, Rockwell Automation, at its sole discretion, will charge the full event rate. At Rockwell’s sole discretion, students and educators may not be allowed to sign-up for certain activities (i.e. Off-site tours).

Is it possible to attend business meetings during Automation Fair without registering for the event?

Access to the Expo, Connection Zone, Summits, Sessions and Lab areas requires a General Access Pass. If you’re attending a meeting hosted in the Expo or in the Connection Zone, you must purchase a General Access Pass. For meetings hosted at an adjacent event hotel or in convention center meeting rooms, registration is not required.

What if I register to attend but need to cancel? Will refunds be given?

Cancellations must be received in writing to automationfair@rockwellautomation.com. Upon cancellation, the attendee’s registration will be cancelled, and the attendee’s selected sessions will be cleared. Cancelled registrations will be refunded according to the schedule below. All refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.

Prior to September 30 = 50% refund

After September 30 = No refund

Attendees are solely responsible for cancelling their hotel and travel reservations and are responsible for any fees related to hotel/travel cancellation.

Is there an age requirement to attend Automation Fair?

Yes, all Automation Fair attendees must be 18 years of age or older to attend the event. If you are coordinating a First Robotics team or other educational group that includes minors, please contact us for assistance at automationfair@rockwellautomation.com. All attendees, including those under 18, must register and wear badges while on-site.

Are substitutions allowed?

Can I upgrade or downgrade my Registration pass?

Attendees are allowed to upgrade and downgrade registration passes following their initial registration.

To upgrade your pass, open the confirmation email, click Modify your registration, and follow the instructions.

To downgrade your pass from General Access + Advanced Training to General Access only, submit a request in writing to automationfair@rockwellautomation.com. We will process your request and a refund for the difference will be provided. All refunds will be processed within 30 days. Please note: Sessions not available in the General Access pass will be cleared from the attendee’s schedule.

What types of payment are accepted?

All attendees must register at the Automation Fair registration website or through an Authorized Distributor. Registration payments made at the Automation Fair registration website will be made by credit card at the time of registration. No other forms of payments will be accepted. All registration fees are listed and charged in USD.

How do I use an Activation code?
