Important Notes about Off-site Tours

  • Tour space is limited – please reserve your selection for the one most relevant to your needs.
  • Registration includes transportation to and from the Anaheim Convention Center and host location.
  • Once registered, a full tour agenda will be sent to you directly closer to the event, including details of when and where to meet, what to wear and bring, and any on-site safety requirements.
  • Tours are reserved for customer and partner attendees. Due to limited capacity, students and educators cannot sign up.
  • The tour host reserves the right to exercise discretion in granting access to their premises, including the authority to refuse entry to a company based on perceived competitive interests. You will be notified if this occurs, and the tour will be removed from your schedule.

  • Each tour lasts 1 hour 45 minutes, featuring unique tour stops throughout the facility
    • Learn about food company giant Grupo Bimbo and its Bimbo Bakeries USA Montebello location, committed to modernization and serving one of their largest US markets
    • See the high-speed hamburger bun and premium bread lines from start to finish – taking the journey from raw ingredients all the way through packaging
    • And ask your questions to the global engineering team behind it all
  • Tours return before or depart after lunch service at the Anaheim Convention Center
  • This tour will block 4.5 hours on your agenda, inclusive of tour, travel time and some buffer for unexpected traffic or weather delays

OT04 - Hestan: A Culinary Icon's Journey with Plex MES Off-site Tour

  • Each tour lasts 2 hours, featuring unique tour stops throughout the facility
    • Walk through the heart of Hestan’s end-to-end operations, learning how smart manufacturing has enabled new processes and getting new products to market faster than ever before
    • Enjoy the showroom of high-end ranges and cook stations where world-renowned chefs go to test the equipment
    • Get exclusive access to the team that uses Plex technology every day, asking your questions while sampling wine from Hestan’s very own vineyards in Napa Valley 
  • Tours return before or depart after lunch service at the Anaheim Convention Center
  • This tour will block 4 hours on your agenda, inclusive of tour, travel time and some buffer for unexpected traffic or weather delays

OT02 - Water Smart – Thinking in Terms of Tomorrow: Inland Empire Utilities Agency Off-site Tour

  • Each tour lasts 1 hour 30 minutes, featuring unique tour stops throughout the facility
    • Hear first-hand about the agency’s largest ever plant expansion and upgrade project, including lessons learned, before and after comparisons, and how funding was secured to make it happen
    • Across the facility, see how they’re leveraging technology to automate operations more than 50% of the time, a progressive approach in this industry and a benefit to their culture
    • Ask questions and engage with some of the engineers and project managers behind these advances
  • The 10am tour on Thursday includes lunch and runs 2 hours, all others return before or depart after lunch service at the Anaheim Convention Center
  • This tour will block 4.5 hours on your agenda, inclusive of tour, travel time and some buffer for unexpected traffic or weather delays

OT01 - Autonomous in Action: Papé Material Handling Warehouse Design Center Off-site Tour

  • Each tour lasts 1 hour 45 minutes, featuring unique experiences throughout the facility
    • Dive into the latest trends in material handling automation, its challenges and most impactful applications while getting to know Papé and their partnership with OTTO
    • Interact with four unique OTTO demonstrations throughout the design center focused on flexibility, workforce, safety and visualization
    • Retail, food & beverage, steel, lumber, cold storage, integrator and other industrial technicians will benefit from this exclusive access to SMEs in robotics and automation
  • The 10am tour on Tuesday and Wednesday includes lunch and runs 2 hours 15 minutes, all others return before or depart after lunch service at the Anaheim Convention Center
